We are extremely proud to announce that as from the beginning of 2017, our entire Service Department has moved to a sustainable, eco-friendly, cutting-edge Service System.
All Liberty Service Personnel have been issued with the latest iPad technology, which is linked by 4G data network, directly to our Service Software. On the iPads, our engineers receive electronic, site specific job lists, which detail precisely the number of units on site, what services are to be carried out, contact details, access times and unit locations. Once the Service Engineer has completed the service, they simply capture a signature on the iPad device, send back the call, and move on to the next visit.
Every single completed report carries the full list of services carried out, the signature of the individual along with their name, a time stamp of when the call was completed, and location stamp, which is attached to an Electronic Service Receipt. These service receipts can be automatically forwarded to any given email address, immediately after the service has taken place, giving absolute peace of mind to the client that services due have been completed.
The system also automatically sends the waste transfer note (duty of care) directly to site each service so it’s always to hand should the client need to comply with stringent environment agency guidance on the movement of offensive wastes.
The software, hardware, development and training has come at considerable cost both in terms of time and finance, however Liberty believe that this is an extremely important investment to remain as the market leaders in innovation, and to take significant steps to reduce the operations impact on our Environment. As an example, the printing and paper usage reduction since the implementation of this system has been in excess of an astounding 90%.
