Welcome to 2021 and probably the Year of Contactless as we all continue to be vigilant about COVID-19.  We’ve all had a tumultuous 2020 personally and for business of course, with many ups and downs and still a long way to go.  Southend on Sea based Liberty Hygiene didn’t take it lying down though; we looked at ways we could not only make our client interactions as touch free as possible, we continued with our long term strategy of reducing our impact on the environment. We’ve been working on this since early in 2020

Our BigChange

It was time for a BIG Change.  And a BIG change is what was implemented with the introduction of a state of the art Job Management system called “BigChange”. Glenn Marshall, Operations Director, who is responsible for the implementation and deployment of the system, said “In the first instance BigChange allowed us to be one of the first Workplace Hygiene companies to introduce a 100% NON-TOUCH signature capture mechanism.   This means Service Technicians can capture and record a signature from anyone on-site – with absolutely zero risk of cross-contamination – and zero risk of having to break any Social Distancing guidelines. It’s so simple and safe as the report is ‘sent’ to the other persons’ device and they sign on that.”

Paperless Benefits

However, the benefits to the business don’t stop there. Paperless workflows and smart scheduling mean service drivers are taking the most optimised routes reducing mileage and actively improving carbon footprint every single day.  The integrated vehicle tracking helps with planning and keep delivering service improvements.  Indeed, customers can now see at a glance when their next service is scheduled and on the service day they can track the vans in real time to see exactly what time the driver will be on site.
