We aim to make the huge volume of waste we collect work for the community and environment. We do this by having that waste converted into power. The waste will generate up to 72MW of power. Put it another way, power nearly half a million average homes.
Liberty Hygiene is also the proud holder of ISO14001 accreditation. This helps to control environmental all aspects, reduce impacts and ensure legal compliance.
Company cars are either fully electric or hybrid.

Liberty have implemented a state of the art all-in-one Mobile Workforce and Job Management Solution called The Big Change This is a paperless system to plan, manage, schedule and track our mobile workforce.
It gives us and our clients a holistic view across the business and full transparency, thanks to the access to all our portals, to see when their next service is scheduled. On the service day they can track the vans in real-time to see exactly what time the driver will be on site. It also helps a lot on route efficiencies, so will cut down our drivers routes reducing carbon footprint.
Customers can instantly access all our legal documentation as well.
