Liberty Hygiene of Southend are delighted to announce that, after a rigorous tender exercise by award-winning Cleanology, one of the most progressive Facilities Management and Cleaning companies in Europe, they have been awarded the continuation of the contract for at least another 3 years. Liberty has been working with Cleanology for over 10 years now.
It all started in 2010 when Cleanology CEO, Dominic Ponniah, was experiencing neverending problems with one of the national washroom service companies. Indeed the situation was so bad that he was seriously considering withdrawing washroom services for his clients altogether. After a lot of persuasion, Dominic let Liberty take over the two troublesome sites to see how they performed. Cut a long story short 10 years later and Liberty Hygiene were looking after well over 200 sites for Cleanology.
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, as any responsible business would do, Dominic and his team looked to evaluate all of their external contractors to ensure they were getting value for money and the service excellence they expected.
It wasn’t all about price. As a winner of the prestigious Green Apple Award for Environmental Innovation, the environment is at the heart of everything Cleanology do, including chemical-free cleaning. So it was vitally important that any contractor wishing to work with them was able to demonstrate sustainability and innovation, all delivered with the highest standards of service
Liberty were absolutely thrilled to hear the news that they had met the stringent criteria and been awarded a further 3 years contract to deliver washroom services for Cleanology to some of the most prestigious venues and buildings in London against some very stiff competition. Liberty has always maintained that it creates partnerships and that’s exactly what this is; keeping Cleanology at the top of their game as a multi award-winning leader in Facilities Management.
Scott Marshall MD and founder of Liberty Hygiene said:
Cleanology are one of our longest-serving cleaning and FM contractors. We fully understood the reason for re-tendering but I have to say I would have been terribly disappointed if we had missed out. Luckily enough that’s not the case and I look forward to helping them remain one of the most reliable and innovative FM/ cleaning companies on the washroom side.
I have always set out to make Liberty easy for FM/ Cleaning contractors to deal with and we are lucky enough to be working with a lot of the best in the industry.
Here’s to the next 3 years working with Cleanology and we plan to make that another 10
Dominic Ponniah CEO of Cleanology quotes:
“When working with a valued partner such as Liberty Hygiene for 10+ years, it was always a difficult decision to tender our washroom contract.
However, as always, Liberty exceeded expectation and gave us compelling reasons to continue the 10-year partnership.
Cleanology has always enjoyed long-term partnerships with its suppliers, however, during these difficult economic times, it became a necessity to review and ensure we were able to continue offering our clients the best in class for the best value. When rigorously assessed, Liberty ticked all the boxes.
We are delighted that we can now build upon our strong relationship for the benefit of our clients.”
